Today marks the launch of an initiative that has already made history at Core: a builder-focused incentive program. This is an incentive program designed to reward innovation and collaboration within the Core ecosystem.
The driving force behind the success of any L1 lies in the builders who continuously push boundaries and innovate. Having this in mind, Core Foundation unveils Core Ignition Builders’ incentive program, a 12-month program designed to reward and empower builders who contribute to the growth and vitality of the most Bitcoin-aligned chain.
Shaping Innovation
Core Ignition Builders’ incentive program recognizes and rewards excellence across multiple aspects of the ecosystem. Builders will be eligible for the airdrop based on their impact on key metrics such as Daily Active Users (DAUs), Total Value Locked (TVL), and Volume through the development of new decentralized applications (dApps) on Core .
How it Works
Builders who want to participate in the Core Ignition Builders’ Incentive Program must meet specific eligibility requirements, which include having the following:
A valid smart contract address on the Core Mainnet;
Registration form filled out;
An X account;
A valid email address;
A Telegram account;
Rules of Engagement
To ensure fairness and transparency, clear rules for participation have been established.
dApps can win in only one category at a time
Minimum eligibility criteria for TVL, DAUs, and Volume have been set
Rules and scoring may be subject to monthly adjustments to reflect the evolving nature of the space
Scoring System
The scoring system will reward builders based on their monthly contribution percentage to Volume and DAUs (as displayed on DappRadar) and TVL (as displayed on DefiLlama) brought onto the Core.
Lighting the Way Forward
To all builders and innovators within the Core Chain community, the invitation to ignite the spark of creativity, innovation, and collaboration is here.
With the launch of the Core Ignition Builders’ Incentive Program, the commitment to an environment where community comes first and innovation is welcome is, once again, assured.
Discalimer
The following activities can lead to disqualification:
- FUD: Participants/Teams who engage in actions that undermine, disparage, or spread false or misleading information (commonly referred to as "FUD") about the chain, ecosystem, or CoreDAO may forfeit their eligibility to receive rewards.
- User Safety: Participants/Teams found to be involved in malicious activities that could harm users, including but not limited to participation in “rug pulls”, deployment of predatory or malicious contract code, or any behavior deemed detrimental to the integrity or security of the ecosystem and/or its users, may be disqualified from receiving rewards.
