Code. Contribute. Climb the Ranks.
Are you ready to level up your Web3 journey?
The Core Builder Sprints is a 3-month developer challenge designed to recognize and reward consistent, high-quality contributions to the Core ecosystem.
Whether you're a Web2 dev making your first Web3 repo or an experienced developer, this is your moment to build on Core, earn CORE tokens, and get discovered by the Core developer community.
Designed for developers, open-source builders, and innovators from university campuses and dev communities around the world, this 3-month sprint invites you to commit code, stack rewards, gain spotlight opportunities, and even offers direct pathways into Core's developer mentorship and incentive programs.
Program objective
The Core Builder Sprint is here to:
Onboard and incentivize global builders from universities and open communities
Drive open-source innovation across the Core ecosystem
Reward contributors based on consistent monthly progress
Spotlight emerging talent and fast-track them into deeper ecosystem involvement
Who should join?
Web2 developers learning blockchain
Smart contract engineers & tool developers
Hackathon veterans
Builders of dApps, SDKs, CLI tools, UI kits, etc.
Open-source contributors eager to level up
How It Works
Monthly Streak-Based Rewards
Contributors must make valid progressive commits at least 10+ days per month to maintain a streak. The longer your streak, the higher your monthly CORE rewards. To be eligible for higher rewards, contributors are required to maintain a streak of 10 or more active days with valid, progressive commits contributing to the development of their project every month. Failing to do so will result in monthly rewards being affected.

Commit and Repository Evaluation Criteria & Rules
Must use the Core CLI tool for project bootstrapping.
Must include Core Testnet 2 or Mainnet config (RPC, chain ID, etc.).
Commits only adding comments, README updates, or trivial refactors like updating the variable name or reordering the functions will not count.
Cosmetic changes (e.g., spacing, linting, renaming) that have no real code impact will be ignored.
Refactors must improve code quality and be explained in the commit message.
Must include real features, bug fixes, performance improvements, or Core Blockchain integrations.
Commit Messages should be professional and briefly explain the changes.
Messages must be clear, concise, and should accurately reflect actual code changes.
Use format:
feat: integrated staking logic with Core testnet
fix: corrected RPC error on wallet connection
chore: improved contract deployment flow with Foundry
