Kiln Becomes Staking Validator on Core Chain, Enhancing Network Security

Kiln, an enterprise-grade validator has become a validator on Core Chain, a Bitcoin powered Layer-1 blockchain. The strategic partnership enhances the network’s security and decentralization, as Kiln is trusted for managing large-scale Bitcoin staking.

Kiln is recognized for its seamless and secure management of staking operations. The company provides a suite of smart contracts that facilitate staking through on-chain contracts, enabling users to join Kiln’s staking pools and earn rewards with a simple transaction. Kiln currently manages 1,168,288 staked ETH, representing nearly $3 billion in assets under management.

‘We are excited to support Core Chain as a node operator. Core Chain helps leverage the BTC network and provide more programmability to it via EVM compatibility. It also helps increase the utility of BTC for holders, and we’re thrilled to support the protocol. ’ — Ernest Oppetit, Co-founder and CPO at Kiln

"We're excited to have Kiln join as a validator on Core Chain, supporting Core in its Bitcoin Aligned mission. Kiln's reliability and trustworthiness make it a perfect partner for securing the Core Blockchain and enabling Core’s newly announced non-custodial Bitcoin staking product." says Brendon Sedo, Initial Contributor to Core.

On the Ethereum blockchain, Kiln is the largest operator of validator nodes, managing over 4% of the network’s validators. The company’s expertise in secure validation makes Kiln a preferred choice for institutional clients. With SDKs and APIs to facilitate integrations, Kiln’s staking pools offer a low-level approach to staking and even allow dedicated validators for certain clients.
