Core Foundation has launched the "Core Commit" program, a three-month initiative aimed at incentivizing developers to build dApps on the Core blockchain. Participants will receive expert mentorship, resources, and access to venture capital, with $75,000 in CORE tokens available as rewards based on performance.

Applications for the Core Commit program opened on October 14, 2024, and developers have until November 14, 2024, to submit proposals. For more details, read the full blog post.

The latest Core Ignition campaign, "The Core League," is now live, introducing an exciting Team Play feature that encourages collaboration among participants. Teams can compete for extra Sparks rewards by bridging USDT to Core, with each member aiming to bridge up to 150 USDT. The top 10 teams will earn a one-time bonus of 10,000 Sparks each.

Prof. Abdoulaye Ndiaye has been appointed as a Research Advisor to the Core Foundation. Prof. Ndiaye is an Assistant Professor of Economics at NYU Stern School of Business, with expertise in macroeconomics and public policy. His prior experience includes serving as an economic consultant and contributing to the launch of the Sui blockchain.

Abdoulaye’s work has been published in numerous leading economics journals, and his expertise in economic policy and growth will be instrumental in shaping the future of the Core ecosystem. In particular, his research into local fee markets will play a pivotal role in improving efficiencies and furthering the economic sustainability of the Core blockchain.
